Marcus Webb spent twelve years working for one of the largest roofing contractors in the region. He was good at the work. What he wasn't good at was watching homeowners get oversold, overcharged, and underserved — and being told to keep quiet about it.
In 2004, Marcus and his wife Dana took their savings, bought two trucks, and started Apex Roofing Co. out of their garage. The first year they did 22 roofs. Every single one of them Marcus stood on himself.
The second year they did 47.
By year five, word of mouth alone was keeping them busier than they could handle.
Today, Apex Roofing employs a full team of trained roofers, project coordinators, and support staff but the same rules from that garage still apply. Show up when you say you will. Tell the truth even when it costs you a job. Stand behind your work, always.
Marcus still walks every roof personally before a quote goes out. Dana still answers the phone.
That hasn't changed once in twenty years.
